What does the Association offer?

The Association is essentially a central base for former pupils and staff of the School, representing many eras, and residing in all four corners of the globe.  Those who join do so primarily because they have an interest in the school, whatever area that might be, and that common interest is something to which we can all relate.  Membership currently stands at around the 500 mark, and ages range from age 18, to the mid 90's.  Many of our distinguished Old Boys are also members.

Various functions are arranged throughout the year, including an Annual Reunion dinner, an Autumn Social Lunch to which guests may be brought Remembrance Day service, individual intake reunions and AGM.  In addition, we have a ‘300 Club’, which for an annual subscription runs draws throughout the year.  Other functions, such as the 100th Birthday celebrations are organised as well, in conjunction with the school.  Events are current;y running for the Centenary of the School with the Association's own Centenary in 2012.  There are several associated organisations such as the Old Gaytonian Golfing Society and Masonic Lodge. These activities are extremely sociable, and new members are most welcome.

For those members further afield, an annual magazine is published in the Spring, with an annual newsletter appearing in the autumn. The former in particular contains news about former pupils and staff, upcoming events and projects, sub-sections and the current school, and letters and memories from members.
